Good to see you. Have a cup of tea and make yourself at home. It's always nice to welcome more visitors.

This site provides you with some background information about our side, and ways to contact us should you wish to get in touch. We are quite a small side, but pretty lively; and we enjoy providing a morning, afternoon or evening of entertainment with displays of Morris dancing in the border style. No hanky waving for us - it's sticks and plenty of vigorous shouting. We've been known to dance on all surfaces (although hard ones are always best) and dance all through the year, including Wassailing in January: a bit nippy, but a lot of fun.

If you take the time to browse though the site, you will see from our photos that we are a mixed side of all ages, and a rather cheerful bunch! We're black and white, with a splash of colour thrown in, and our music and dances are wide and varied.

We are always looking for new dancers, you don't need any previous experience although a sense of humour is recommended! See below and please get in touch. Musicians (acoustic instruments only) will also be most welcome.

We currently practice on Thursday evenings from 7:30 ‘til 9:00 in Hinderclay Village Hall. We will be moving back to Kenninghall once the new Hall has been built (watch this space).

Last year we were the subject of a series of films about Kenninghall, by a budding film maker. The film is now available: MORRIS DANCERS (see below).

So if you enjoy local fayres, festivals and outdoor events, like to keep fit and enjoy music and dance, why not come along and give it a try?
